Primary Responsibilities:
  • Be the operational leader of the fast growing and highly innovative US mystery shopping business. operations team.
  • Manage and improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of mystery shopping vision.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness the mystery shopping operations and project management functions to ensure our “better design, better execution, better impact” promise to clients.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning of the division, including an initiative geared toward operational/executional excellence and quality.
  • Manage panel growth and quality assurance initiatives as well as fieldwork partnerships.
  • Consult and guide sector leaders and client service teams when pitching/pricing Mystery Shopping.
  • Help serve as a Mystery Shopping subject matter expert and give advice on our ‘better design, better execution and better impact’ strategy.
  • Oversee all RFP costing, shopper payment and invoicing functions.
  • Regular meetings with Mystery Shop SVP around strategic planning.
 Required Skills:
  • At least 5 years experience in mystery shopping operations management specifically.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, masters preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Budget development and oversight experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Excels at operating in a fast pace environment.
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction and a collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view.

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, MS Project specifically, and certified PMP a plus.
This position can be based the Greater New York City area.
