Senior Research Manager
The primary role of a Senior Research Manager is to plan, execute, report, and financially manage global research projects from start to finish. Senior Research Managers are expected to not only manage global projects, but provide exceptional deliverables, consult on simple to moderately complex projects, develop pricing and proposals, determine appropriate study design, and provide daily client management. Senior Research Managers are also expected to lead the project team and coach and mentor junior project members throughout the process.
  • Manage complex global research studies independently from start to finish
  • Write and price proposals with assistance from Consultant
  • Determine study designs
  • Design complex surveys
  • Present study results
  • Create analysis plan for complex studies
  • Write reports
  • Monitor and remain accountable for financials on a project basis
  • Foster global client loyalty through exceptional project execution and client service skills
  • Manage global clients (i.e. strong client interaction skills)
  • Train clients in various methodologies and provide research recommendations to clients
  • Ability to generate additional global business
  • Aid in the development of our Research employees
  • Train, coach, mentor, and develop junior project team members
  • Provide internal training to the company
  • Successfully manage a project team(s)
  • Serve as (global) Consultant on simple studies, as well as on more complex studies with guidance from AD or RD
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years global experience require
  • Demonstrate professional maturity and general business knowledge
  • Well-rounded problem solving skills and expert-level multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive planning and prioritization skills

  • Understand clients’ business objectives in order to offer strategic suggestions and value-added consulting
  • Effectively manage the project team (i.e., Coordinator, Recruiting, Programmer, and Consultant)
  • Excellent leadership skills (i.e., motivating team members, mentoring PCs and Interns)
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Effective writing skills – ability to interpret results into a meaningful story for clients
  • Breadth and depth of research knowledge on either Quantitative or Qualitative methods
  • Ability to effectively interpret results into a meaningful story for clients
  • Begin discussing complex business and research issues with clients independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • SPSS skills required for quantitative oriented individuals
