Inside Sales Executive with experience in filling a sales pipeline for a marketing services firm. The position of Business Development Executive based in our client's Chicago Office (Des Plaines) will be responsible for building the Top of the Sales Funnel (Lead Generation) for the Market Research Operations offering to Market Research & Consulting firms. The Business Development Executive should have a solid awareness and understanding of the Market Research Industry. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for a wide variety of sales activities; including Daily Outreach/Cold Calling to prospective firms, conducting e-mail campaigns, attending/socializing at Market Research Events/Conferences to generate new leads, and religiously following processes of updating lead management systems etc.
Ideal candidate would have 2 or 3 years of sales experience (preferably within the market research industry -- specifically from Market Research Technology or Sample provider firms).
Target for this Individual would be lead generation and setting up around 4 to 6 meetings with new prospects in a given month and reachable revenue target (coming out of 5 to 7 new clients in a year)
